RAL Proposal Review

The MICE proposal was submitted to RAL on January 10, 2003 and the following presentations were made to the international review panel on February 17, 2003:

Introduction (A. Blondel)
Accelerator Physics Aspects (M. Zisman)
Detectors (V. Palladino)
The UK Perspective (R. Edgecock)

The initial response of the panel contained questions which we addressed in our answers.

In its final report (May 20, 2003), the review panel strongly recommended approval of the experiment and a letter acknowledging scientific approval from CCLRC chief executive John Wood was communicated to the collaboration on October 24, 2003.
