ISIS - nothing to report 3. Target - vespel delayed at manufacturers arrival mid-Jan - successful target meeting with ISIS - David Findlay concludes that 100% running at 5V would be unacceptable due to activation issues 4. Decay solenoid - 8000 hours service on 18th - 22nd Jan, will keep vacuum but let magnet warm 5. Infrastructure - Drilling holes in floor 2/3 done - Water system ongoing, 85% complete - INFN ordered Al material for compressor supports - Pump going down in trench - neutron monitor PS underway 6. Spectrometer Solenoid Magnet 2 - Single stage cooler arrived + initial installation - Waiting for lead test - Discharge circuit fabricated and partially tested - Big copper strips for thermal connection - Increased instrumentation between cryocooler 2 and 3 - "High likelihood" of running to full current - May need lHe top-up, aim for >6 weekly intervals - Delays due to illness at manufacturer, expect leak check begin Jan, cool down early Feb Magnet 1 ~ 2 months behind magnet 2 - Will purchase additional single stage cryocooler - Better shield connections - Magnet 1 will be finished only when magnet 2 is proved to work 7. RFCC - 5 cavities @ LBNL - Pressure from manufacturer to order remaining cavities 8. Coupling Coil - Last step on bid for fabrication of CC - New local HIT project manager - IHEP consultant to liaise with Chi Wan (sp?) - HIT test facility to be constructed - Expect MuCOOL CC next summer 9. Detectors - Luminosity monitor to be installed during xmas shutdown - (NB: I notice an ACTION from mico 88 to get a survey for TOF2/KL - was this ever done?)
